I'm very happy with how it came out. I like to think that my mother would like it as well.
I hope Lois doesn't mind that I didn't put her name or date or any of her other information in my sampler.
Lois Minshall is by Threads of Gold and was done on 40ct Vintage Light Examplar from Lakeside Linens, using an NPI conversion from Jean at the Attic. (And no affiliation, just a happy customer.)
Oh, and I thought I'd show you what usually happens when we try to take a picture of the boy child. This was taken on his birthday.

Margaret - Congratulations on your beautiful finish! I think that no matter what pattern you work on there is always liberties to be taken with it (like personalizing it for your mother)! I can't believe how quickly you got this done! It's wonderful.

Wow, what a wonderful tribute to your mother! Plus, a lovely finish. I laugh at this pictures of the "boy child". Growing up, there were more picture of me holding books in front of my face or a sudden hand or flip of the hair than me just smiling. I'm much better about taking pictures now.
