stitch stitch stitch

Here is my progress on the Hornbook Bestiary.

I made the kitten look like Mia, although her body had to be a mirror image since Mia's spot is on the other side.  lol!  I also took a pic with a dime to show the size of the little blocks.  (I couldn't find a quarter.)

Here is my fussy cut Friday star, using another Vicksburg by Judie Rothermel fabric.

My sweet girl child sent me a pic she took of the three of us on my birthday on the 19th, down in the subways before we said goodbye.  Love this pic!

And here's a pic of the boy child up in Boston.  I think he regretted showing me this pic.  (I don't even want to think about where he's sitting.)

I have begged him not to sit there anymore.  lol!  I guess he doesn't have a fear of heights like I do.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!

Love the way you incorporated Mia into the design.

Cute picture of all of you! I'm with you on the picture of your son. I would hate to see mine hanging out of a window too. Ugg. Lol.
Have a great week! I hope you get a lot of stitching done. Oh BTW, I pulled out the toy chest the other day and I'm making an attemp to finish the stitching. Any chance you want to join me? No pressure at all. :)

Oh my gosh I don't think I realized how tiny that piece is without the dime next to a square. Love how you customized it!

Bet Mia is so proud to be represented on your sampler. She might even come out from under the laundry to view it!

Love your stitching and fussy cut block as usual.

Great photo from the subway. But my heart would drop to my stomach if I had a son who sent me the one on the ledge!

I was liking the Horn Book. Now that I can see the scale, I am in awe. The "Mia" square is so sweet! But do not think too hard about where the Boy Child was sitting - you need to get to sleep at night!

How sweet that you turned added your little Mia, Margaret--what a great idea. I am in awe of this piece--just fall in love with it more each time I see it...

Such a nice family photo! But, oh, that picture of your son scares me to death! I, too, am very afraid of heights!! I'm sure most parents don't even know half of the scary things their kids do as they're growing up :)
