mood indigo

I didn't touch any stitching this week.  But I did work on my fair isle knitting.

I'm over halfway done!

And I also worked on my Tula Pink blocks.

And of course, my Fussy Cut Friday star for the week, using another Judie Rothermel fabric.

My next stars will all be more like this one -- calmer and less fussy, so to speak.  Need some calm stars as well as big and fussy stars.

The father type and I went to Tarrytown again -- dinner first.

Salad followed by a vegan shepherd's pie, finishing with  carrot cake.

Then off to the Music Hall

To see

(Father type bought the tickets after checking with me to make sure nothing was going on that day.  All the while I was sitting there thinking, "now isn't that day special for some reason?"  Um yeah.  Easter.  lol!  Luckily, both kids were not planning on coming home for Easter so we were ok.)

We had a good time, although I'm not sure what the Indigo Girls were thinking having a hip hop act as their opening set.  Ugh.  The Indigo Girls themselves were great.  (The hip hop act was good too, I'm sure.  I just don't like hip hop, as the majority of the audience obviously didn't either.)

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!

I'm with you - a rap opener for the Indigo Girls does not make sense. It's funny about forgetting Easter!

You've made great progress on your knitting project! I've never knit with Koigu before.
