Here it is on my lovely model (who points out that he'd been sick for 3 days so please excuse his appearance.). And here is Mia enjoying it as well.
Here is my fussy cut star for the week. I used an Autumn Bouquet fabric by Jason Yenter.
I started the triangle section of the Tula Pink 100 Modern Blocks quilt this week and got a good amount done.
And finally, I started a new fair isle project! It's called Eclat du Jour by Kourtney Robinson. It will be a bag when finished, hopefully. lol!
The colors are a bit off in this picture, but you get the idea.
I stopped doing the ORT SAL a while back, but I couldn't resist a pic of my "ORTS" from weaving in the ends of my cowl. Plus the leftover yarn from attaching the ends together.
Here is Mia getting an accidental ride on the father type's laptop after sitting on said laptop for a long time.
Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi. I hope everyone has a great week!

So two super-models in your household! You definitely gave them a beautiful piece for practicing their talents!
Always a glorious display of color and fun projects. Love the little animals in your modern quilt.
The cowl is lovely all those colours, hope your hubby is feeling better now. You must have a good collection of stars now, really liking the material choice for this one. Mia is of course the star what a cutey she is!

That scarf is awesome and you are starting another beauty! I had to laugh at something...you used to use your son in your photos a lot, now that he's away, it's your husband who will be the model!

Father type is a great model even if he's sick! Love the scarf! The colours are fabulous! The new bag is beautiful too. I like collecting the yarn orts too. So bright and cheery!! Pretty fussy cut this week! Can't wait to see them all together! Mia got a cool ride on the laptop! Titus would break the laptop in two if he was on it! Hugs!
This week's star looks especially great--I like that print! Your finished knit looks great on both models. Very nice work. I've also been piecing quilt blocks lately--whew, a lot of progress you have here!
P.S. thank You for giving up the scheduled ort report game! I don't mind a fancy pile of threads pic now and again but that whole thing was the worst blog roll clutter at its height. So glad that monthly irritant has fallen out of fashion!
The cowl is stunning Margaret. Beautiful colors. I absolutely love the pics of both of your models.
Linda

It' s another rhapsody in colours that you show here. That cowl looks gorgeous and so do all the new quilt blocks. I love the idea of having a knitting ort bowl.
Oh, it turned out great, Margaret--I do love those colors and that is so nice of your DH to indulge you and be your male model :)
And your fussy cut star of the week is gorgeous, too... You certainly are multi-talented!!
What a great knitting finish Margaret, knitting produces so many orts when it comes to the finishing stage. Mia looks so cute in the last photo - she really does like the camera.
Margaret , the cowl is simply smashing. I can't believe just a few short weeks ago you took that class. You rock!!! Good luck on the purse project. Once again, love your star quilt pieces. Missed blog reading last week, fun that you saw the Indigo Girls. Hope Spring has spring in NY. Cheers Mel
