knitty quilty knitty

I finished my Vogue Knitting Mobius (Koigu) cowl!

Here it is on my lovely model (who points out that he'd been sick for 3 days so please excuse his appearance.).  And here is Mia enjoying it as well.

Here is my fussy cut star for the week.  I used an Autumn Bouquet fabric by Jason Yenter.

I started the triangle section of the Tula Pink 100 Modern Blocks quilt this week and got a good amount done.

And finally, I started a new fair isle project!  It's called Eclat du Jour by Kourtney Robinson.  It will be a bag when finished, hopefully.  lol!

The colors are a bit off in this picture, but you get the idea.

I stopped doing the ORT SAL a while back, but I couldn't resist a pic of my "ORTS" from weaving in the ends of my cowl.  Plus the leftover yarn from attaching the ends together.

Here is Mia getting an accidental ride on the father type's laptop after sitting on said laptop for a long time.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!

Pretty fussy cut this week! Can't wait to see them all together! Mia got a cool ride on the laptop! Titus would break the laptop in two if he was on it! Hugs!

This week's star looks especially great--I like that print! Your finished knit looks great on both models. Very nice work. I've also been piecing quilt blocks lately--whew, a lot of progress you have here!

P.S. thank You for giving up the scheduled ort report game! I don't mind a fancy pile of threads pic now and again but that whole thing was the worst blog roll clutter at its height. So glad that monthly irritant has fallen out of fashion!

What a great knitting finish Margaret, knitting produces so many orts when it comes to the finishing stage. Mia looks so cute in the last photo - she really does like the camera.

Margaret , the cowl is simply smashing. I can't believe just a few short weeks ago you took that class. You rock!!! Good luck on the purse project. Once again, love your star quilt pieces. Missed blog reading last week, fun that you saw the Indigo Girls. Hope Spring has spring in NY. Cheers Mel
