No stitching, but....

I got my Wearwithall Stole all blocked.  Here it is laying out to dry.  (I don't own T pins or blocking wires.  I'm casual.  lol!)

And here I am modeling the finished result.  Sorry, my mirror leaves something to be desired.

I know, I should be smiling.  But this is my first (and hopefully only) selfie -- I feel silly smiling at myself!

I didn't do any stitching this week.  Instead, I went a bit crazy with other projects.  I started this clamshell quilt.

Collections for a Cause Love Quilt (Moda)

And then decided to work on a tumbler quilt instead.

(The tumbler is doubled over, so it's twice as long as this.)

And on the weekend, I went a bit nuts with knitting.  I had to try this out.

Honeycomb Waves throw using Noro Kureyon
I found the pattern on Ravelry.

Once I tried that, I had to start working with these lovelies, so I moved on.

Rowan Kidsilk Haze Stripe yarn for the Colorplay Mohair Wrap.
And yes,  once again, this is a result of enabling by KwiltyKim of Threadheads Unite.  If you go to that link, you will see both the Wearwithall Stole and this new project of mine.  lol!  I do have a start on this wrap, but I'll show it off next time.

I know it's time for a TUSAL pic, but I haven't been doing enough stitching to have a TUSAL pic be worthwhile.  So no TUSAL this month, sadly.

The weather is getting colder these days.  And Mia is getting all cuddly as a result.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!

Wonderful stuff! The tumbler quilt fabrics are so yummy...great deep, rich colors! What a beauty that will be! Love the selfie...I like to see who is doing the "talking" on the blogs I follow, and enjoy seeing you, even if it is only once and a while. The shawl is simply gorgeous. Your new start looks so interesting...you are wonder!
Have a great week,
Robyn

Gorgeous projects, Margaret!! Are you doing the interfacing/appliqué method on the clamshells? I've been eyeing that kit. Your tumblers look awesome too! Great things going on in your house!

Oh Margaret, I love it all! I'm especially smitten with the Honeycomb Waves. Wow! Love the stole too. It's just perfect for this chilly weather we've been having. Gotta love a velcro kitty. I've got a velcro pup these days too. Have a great week!

This looks like my house, with one project after another being brought out and started or restarted. But unlike my house YOU actually seem to be getting things done. Yes, my cats are sticking close by too. Coal has returned to his cold weather habit of sleeping on my pillow right ON my head!

What a great round robin of projects. Fun colors, stitches and techniques, each and every one.

The shawl looks beautiful and so warm! Selfies are kind of weird to do I think. I guess some people get used to them when they do a lot.

That KwiltyKim, she's just bending your arm like crazy isn't she?

The whole selfie thing is weird to me too. I wonder if other people generally smile at themselves in the mirror?

Hi Margaret. I left a comment earlier, but now I will answer your comment that I just saw on my blog. I've been involved in gymnastics and ballet since the age of 4. Ballet first, then I switched to gymnastics at age 11 and then went back to ballet in college. I am a coach and judge of gymnastics now. I *knew* I should have taken today off --- you make me want to stitch, stitch, stitch! Sigh.

I love everything you are into, but I think that goes without saying. Good luck on all the thread-related adventuring.

By the way, it's a good thin Mia is a self-sufficient being -- we can tell ya'll don't love her very much ;-)
