I seemed to be multi-tasking this week. I got the other big bird filled in on Rachel, and worked on the bottom border as well.
And I discovered that my magnifiers match the red in Rachel.
I finished the clouds and sun on Manifesto.
And I got that 4th row of hexies sewn onto the Hex on the Beach quilt.
I love seeing the beginnings of the pattern coming out!
An anonymous commenter asked about where I got my Hex on the Beach quilt kit. I'm sorry to say I think it's sold out everywhere. I looked where I bought mine and I don't see it anymore.
Mia has been a bit topsy turvy this week. I have a feeling having us gone for 4 days really threw her off schedule. But she's getting back to normal. And she's enjoying the spring days too.
The open windows, and the sunshine.
And also a lap when the father type is sitting in her chair. (Yes, it's her chair, not the father type's.)
Thanks for stopping by and saying hi. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.

=) Sweet Mia. Henry is sleeping in my lap, again. ;)
ooOoo! Manifesto is soooo cool that small.
The hexie quilt is awesome.
Love, love, love all of your pieces Margaret. And just so you know what an enabler you are: 1) Rachel arrived from the Attic last week and my fingers are itching to start. 2) Have the silk gauze for Manifesto and ordered the Millennium frame. I'm trying to decide if I should use the Soie d'Alger silk or Splendor silk. 3) Ordered Hex on the Beach quilt kit a while back and I'm so glad I did when I did. Haven't started it but I will.
I'm working on Gigi R Isabella Fox and am loving every minute. I visited my sisters last week, took a wonderful class from Jackie duPlesse and took a quick trip to Shepherd's Bush.
So much to do...and so little time. Yesterday I was wishing I had 8 arms !! LOL Hugs to you and Mia. I'll try to post on my blog soon.
All of your projects are coming along beautifully! Mia is a sweetie...
Wow you have progressed on Rachel, so colourful, I love her! The hexi quilt looks goo so far.

Go Margaret! Multi tasking is the way to go :D LOL But a big difference I see is you are still very productive than I am while you are juggling around... Does Mia ever go outside to meet the world?
Very nice progress on Rachel and Manifesto! I love seeing all your projects unfold:)
Have a great week!
Great progress on all projects, Margaret. Don't you love being able to have the windows open, finally!?
Yay for multitasking!! Rachel is coming along beautifully. She looks nearly finished! The hexagon quilt is so amazing and I love watching it come together...I can quilt vicariously through you (vicariously...the right word?!) Mia I see claims her chair regardless of who is on it! So typical of cats!!
Hugs
You have been super productive! Rachel is looking beautiful and nearing the finish line, manifesto is showing progress and your hexie quilt is beautiful!
Callie Mae understands Mia plight when we go away she also gets off schedule. Am sure she was thrilled when her people returned home
A lovely post full of red things - my favourite colour. Is Mia an indoors cat Margaret?
Multi-tasking is a good thing. Look at all that you worked on!! I haven't touched my Manifesto at all. I've got to snap to it at some point!!
The Sampler is really looking pretty now. I guess you'll need to buy a pair of readers to match each sampler now, huh?
Love the hexi-quilt. That looks like so much work to me. I really admire people who make those.
Rachel, Manifesto and your hexie quilt all look fabulous! Very productive week. Love seeing photos of your sweet Mia.

Mia is a beautiful kitty!
Hi, Margaret,
Rachel is beautiful, I love the colors on the birds. I love the quilt hanging behind your hubby, too, did you make that? Is the beach quilt like a grandmother's garden? I have always wondered how they make those, never thought about sewing them by rows. Manifesto is great, mine is coming along too, it is hard to put down! Have a nice week!
Melinda
The Rachel sampler looks so beautiful, love all the red and those big birds too! Have a great week!

Something tells me you are staying busy, Margaret!
Everything looks beautiful!
I'm in loe with Rachel's red poppy border and with the bright blue clouds in your other stitch. I hope Mia gets 'settled' here shortly. Cats do love their routine to stay routine!

You gals working on Manifesto amaze me! Are you working on 40ct or gauze? I am really enjoying all your pictures, though. I think I will have to enjoy that particular vicariously! As always, love your girl Mia :)
I love seeing the Manifesto take shape. Amazing little stitches and details on a massive ground. Rachel is so stunning.

Swooning over Rachel!!! I must stitch her!!! I forget, are you using the silks?
You are a most talented multi~tasker ~ great projects. Mia always manages to bring a smile to my face!
Rachel is coming along very nicely and it's wonderful of you to coordinate your specs with your stitching LOL!
Mia looks quite content in the sun and open window. It's nice to finally have some sun here in Michigan too!
Are you hand stitching the hexi quilt? If so - YIKES!!
And you are coming along nicely on Manifesto too - well done with the multi-tasking...
So many beautiful projects, Margaret! At least you'll never get bored :)
I'm sure Mia is enjoying relaxing in the spring breezes and sunshine. Isn't it nice to be able to open the windows and let in all that fresh air!
I can totally see that quilt kit being sold out. It really is gorgeous. You got lots and lots done on everything this week!!
I love the Manifesto!
The bird on Rachel is relay beautiful.

Nice progress on everything!
Rachel is looking SO pretty in her reds...
but that Manifesto...amazing already :)
Sweet Mia...that's the way my kitties are after we've been gone for a few days. They soon get back right as rain though :)
Rachel is just wonderful - I love love it ! Manifesto is so brillantly colored. I'm still procrastinating about the silk gauze - I know I need to work on a frame but just not sure I even want to take the plunge. I have gotten very little stitching done lately so my silk gauze project is still on hold. Take care mel
Margaret your Rachael is really gorgeous and I love the sun and clouds too on Manifesto! You sure seem to get lots and lots done! Beautiful work! Your kitty is so sweet and so cute too. I love seeing your beautiful progress so much!!
Ohhhh vous êtes une vraie fée ce travail de broderie est tellement fin bravo à vous !
Petite caresse à Mia et baiser à vous mon amie !
Ohh LOVE those birds on Rachel!!
Not much better than red magnifiers, except multiple pairs to have around the house ;-)
Your hexie quilt is coming right along. Fun to see the little star fish motif.
Have a great weekend.
Hi Margaret...Rachel is positively gorgeous! How I wish I had a little of your stick-to-it-ism! Love the red quilt as well!
Robyn
Well, that's really multi-tasking, lol. Your projects are all so awesome. But I particularly love Rachel. The reds in this sampler are so ourstanding without dominationg the other colours too much. A wonderful combination. I'm a "red" lover and I think, this chart has to come onto my wishlist.
