I actually finished this in March, but since I neglected to say so, here it is in an April post. It's Second Grace, by Bristol Ivy, knitted in Fibre Company Cumbria.
I left off the color work on the sleeves, but otherwise it's as the pattern was written. Even down to the colors used. The colors are what got me the first time I saw the designer wearing hers at Rhinebeck! (I saw pictures on Instagram.)
I have since started a new project -- Miss Rachel's Yoke by Kate Davies. I'm using the called for yarn and colors (Buchaille). Love it so much! (I'm farther along than this picture shows, but no color work yet.)
Methinks this is the year of color work. :D
Here are the sweaters I've knitted so far this year. Love my drawer!
And here are my two babies. (At least the ones who are at home right now.)
(My sweet father type is in the background too!)
Happy spring to everyone in the Northern Hemisphere!

Second grace is just beautiful. I am in awe. What absolutely beautiful yarns you have to work with and such interesting colours.

Second Grace is awesome Margaret! I am looking forward to your next knit. The colors of your yarn look yummy!
Beautiful knitting. I see the detail, colors and tiny stitches are like a sampler.
All so wonderful.
A "year of colour work" is just the right expression, Margaret, as both your sweaters are a real explosion of colours. I love colours!!! And I think your next sweater will just be showing lots of colours, too, according to the yarn that is ready in your basket.
I am in awe! A second gorgeous sweater full of color changes (and oh, those colors!) and you're already going on a third - amazing. They're all beautiful (yes, I peeked at what the work-in-progress is to look like).
Was just struck by a thought - you work the designs from a *chart* don't you? You may not be stitching samplers, but you're still doing counted work. ;)
Your sweater is gorgeous. Love the yarn colors used!
OH OH - Margaret - this is absolutely gorgeous - glad to see you wearing it. It fits beautifully. I am so jealous you are doing one of Kate's designs. The photo of her standing on that loch in the plaid skirt and sweater just invoke such strong feelings of Scottish heritage. This is one of the Gawthorpe inspired designs, How do you like her wool? I have been meaning to order some for a shawl/hap but I just don't get around to it. Hope you enjoy this - your colors are awesome. Happy knitting GF - Mel
Happy Spring to you and yours! I read your blog to, among other things, expand my exposure to color combinations. The colors used on your last 2 sweaters are not something that I'm immediately attracted to, but when I look, really look, I gain appreciation on how color combo interact with one another and then I am suddenly all about rusts and coppers!
Beautiful sweaters!
Your sweaters are amazing. Beautiful colors and beautiful fit too! Congratulations on your lovely works of art!
Happy spring! Your sweaters are gorgeous, your work is flawless, and fits beautifully! Looking forward to Miss Rachel. Your babies look cozy!

I can see why you were attracted to the colors in Second Grace! Just beautiful! I have terrible color sense myself.
Another gorgeous, warm sweater for your collection! It amazes me that you can turn these out so quickly!
Beautiful Margaret! Just gorgeous. Love your choices of patterns and colors. Second Grace is amazing and Miss Rachel's Yoke has caught my eye on several occasions. Anxious to see more of that one!!
Your sweater is absolutely gorgeous and colorful! And makes a lovely addition to your drawer. : ) Looking forward to seeing your newest project! And yes, happy spring!!!
Delicious colors chosen for Second Grace. Heaven in a drawer. Precious babies ... human and furry.
Oh--sooo--beautiful!! Margaret, you always amaze me with your knitting... I'll bet you just open your sweater drawer and smile periodically, don't you? :)
I am amazed how quickly you knit up these amazing sweaters! You are super talented.
Boy and cat - so perfectly reunited! ;-)
Second Grace is so very pretty and such an achievement - they are like the sampler work of knitting. I like your jumper drawer, too.
