Warning: not much to show here

I didn't work on anything this week but the Guernsey Wrap.

I'm over halfway now.  Slow but sure.  I'm using Brooklyn Tweed Shelter in Soot.

As you know, it was my sweet boy's 21st birthday on Friday.  Here are a few pics from his day.

And then we had to say goodbye to my baby Sunday.  His Spring break went by so fast.

A certain someone seems a bit down -- missing her boy.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week.  Come on Spring!

I like the photo with the cake, it sort of sums up a special birthday.
Oh so cute those pink toes and I agree Mia looks a little down - cats are so funny.

Ahh sweet Miss Mia--she loves and misses her boy child (who is growing into an outstanding young man)

Family times together are far to short

Oh, you really captured Mia's mood there. Poor sweetie missing her boy pal!

Ahh, visits from your kids are always to short but at least he did make it home for it!

Love your wrap. It's coming right along. So sad that Spring break goes by too fast…poor you and poor Mia. Bet she wonders what the heck is going on !!

Warm hugs….

Your wrap is looking good. Probably easy to continue working on it in the winter that just won't quit!

Your son looks so angelic with his cake. I trust his night out with boys went well.

What a great shot of Mia. She poses so well, but she'll never be a good poker player! Her expression says it all.

Those visits always go by entirely too fast, don't they Margaret? My youngest is coming home for the weekend--haven't seen him since Christmas. I know the time will just whiz by...

It won't be long now until your son is home for summer--I'm sure you'll love that as will Miss Mia :)

well the wrap is sure looking beautiful - I think I told you I started it over for the 3rd time about 6 mos ago and laid it down for something new and shiny. I will get it done one day but mine is in Berroco Blackstone Tweed - pretty decent yarn. Glad you DS got to have his special 21st birthday at home with family and friends. You are all lucky to share it together. Time flies when you're having fun ! Mel
