It's March -- and it's snowing. What else is new?

Yup.  It's Sunday and it's snowing.  How unusual.  Sigh.

Anyway, I've been knitting.  The rams have appeared on Rams & Yowes.

Boxy worsted is getting longer.  Much faster than the Boxy in fingering weight.  Much more satisfying.

And I started another new project.  Mostly because I've wanted a cowl like this one and need it to keep warm.  It's the 3 Color Cashmere Cowl using Miss Babs Sojourn yarn (cashmere and silk).  Yum!

I'm not used to slippery yarns anymore after all the Shetland color work.  But it's coming along.  So soft!

The poor EPP quilt is going slowly.  My shoulder just does not appreciate English paper piecing.  Oh well.

Mia has been hibernating so much recently that I haven't gotten many pics of her.  But here she is a week or so ago -- getting into my clothes.  Sigh.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!

Ugh--snow. We still have frozen ice from the ice storm two weeks ago. I am ready for spring. Your quilt is beautiful

Miss Mia--silly girl--wonderful girl!

Your knitting is like your cross stitch...absolutely lovely!

The English paper piecing sounds like it would be a royal pain; my hat's off to you for tackling it.

If I run across a darning mushroom in any of the local antique emporiums, I'll grab it for you!

It snowed almost all day in Ohio, too . . . sigh. Will it ever end? Than when it hits the 70's people will be complaining again. NOT ME!
Your knitting is so lovely. I passed a yarn/knitting shop yesterday and was tempted to go in, but I don't have time for a new project.
Stay warm,
Lauren

When Sammy was living with us there were two places I didn't want him to have anything to do with - our closet and my sewing room. Of course, those were the two places that fascinated him the most!

LOVE the sheep and ram hat! it's coming out beautifully too. The EPP project looks wonderful - so sad your shoulder doesn't like it. I hope it gets better quickly.

To have so much snow and even getting more at the beginning of March isn't funny, is it? I do not like snow and I'm feeling with all you people in the East. During the last two weeks all the snow that we were havin has melted and there are only a few remainders along the street. And I hope that there will be no new snow coming our way.

Your kn itting is gorgeous and your can even see the softness of the wool and silk mix on your third project picture.

Maybe you should knit a sweater for Mia? ;)

Gorgeous knitting. Fun to have 3 projects going at once so you can rotate. Glad your shoulder lets you knit at least.

Ice storm here yesterday. Schools closed for yet another day. Would someone please tell Mother Nature that it's March.. average temps here for this time of year is 50 deg F. Next week we change to DST. My body and mind are confused!

Yep, snow here, too, Margaret--we got another six inches yesterday and I had the honor of shoveling since DH is in CO skiing :) Blech!! We had the second coldest February ever here in the Pittsburgh region...

At least you have your nice knitting to keep you warm and cozy--everything looks beautiful. Mia definitely has the right idea--crawl into a dark soft "cave" and hibernate!

Think spring!!!

Lots of lovely knitting, it's the time of year to enjoy it - there's something very comforting about knitting in the winter months. I do love that little cute face peeking out.

That's so funny about Mia hiding, well trying to get warm I guess. Daisy likes to squirrel away too!

Gorgeous knitting. I think the cold weather is making you want to keep knitting to keep warm!

Take care!

sorry you've had more snow to deal with. We're in a warm trend - 70's for 3 days then cooler again. You are a lucky gal getting the Miss Babs to play with. I have never gotten any but I hear it's awesome! Love the progress on Boxy and your Rams and Ewes - so awesome ! take care, have a good week and stay warm - Mel

Poor Mia - she doesn't like the cold at all!! Whereas, my fat boy Buddy loves it!

I'm sure Mia was looking for a warm hideaway. I had to laugh, I'm always covered in cat hair... LOL. Hope Winter will soon be gone for you.

I don't blame Mia. My Mia (also a cat) feels the same way!

It's snowed twice this week! Maybe more! Who can keep track anymore? It's just an endless loop of snow, snow, and more snow.

That cowl must be deliciously soft.Mmmmm.

Maggie loves digging into our closet that has clothing on shelves. It's a little cat cave. Cute - until you pull something out covered in fur. :(

Gorgeous quilt.

Hope you get some relief from the snow soon. I know I still long for some but I think if we had what you've had I'd be getting pretty fed up too!
