I do love stitching on this one.
Yesterday was the Father Type's birthday. We had a nice day together sans children. Topped off by a yummy birthday dinner of prime rib for the Father Type and shrimp for me at one of our favorite restaurants.
Followed by a bit of dessert.
I think the birthday boy was quite satisfied.
We even had a nice video chat with the boy child, and a nice texting chat with the girl child.
Mia has been staying snug.

Belated birthday wishes to the fatherly-type. That should be easy for me to remember in the future as yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of my back surgery, and today is our youngest grandson's 3rd birthday.
He does look happy! Happy Birthday! Love this fun sampler...the colors so wonderful! That little elf is adorable...and maybe a bit mischievous.

That is SUCH a gorgeous sampler, Margaret--I do love that gold house so much!! Sounds like a nice birthday for your husband even without the kids around--you would have to show me that dessert first thing in the morning! Think I need to get my sugar fix out of the way first thing now :)
