Framing, TUSAL, and getting there

First off, the getting there.

Just a bit of grass, some rocks, and the words to go.  Of course, the words are the hardest part.  Oh well.   Did you notice the cat?  I tried to color her to look like Mia.

You can see her better in my TUSAL picture for this month.

Haven't got the head quite right, but it's close.  It's also the last TUSAL of the year.  Unbelievable!

I picked up a framed piece this past Friday as well.  It's Jane Pattison.

Here's a frame detail.

Mia has been enjoying boxes recently.  Both in and on.

Little does she know she's sitting on top of her Christmas present.  :D

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a wonderful week!

Nice job on the cat!!!!!!!!
It's weird but every time I see this piece, I see something new. This time it was the position of the moon. Very different.

Mia's 'zoom' face in that first pic is all sorts of awesome. Lol

I didn't realize that you had stitched AND finished Jane Pattison already! Of course, she really didn't get on my radar until I saw Brenda stitching it at the retreat I attended this fall. Did you use the wools from GAST? Those really intrigued me... :)
AIAWFAA is looking STUNNING! I'm jealous!

I haven't been on the computer very often lately, and the first blog I visit this morning is yours. And oh, what a delight. Now I realize how much I have missed visiting the blogs in my reader and having a look at all the wonderful stitching.
Jane Pattison looks gordeous in her frame. And wow, what a progress you made on AAWFAA since I visited last. I love all these vibrant colours it uses, and also the unusual way of how the sampler is designed. Great!
