Next?

Yes, I finished Guarding Eden.  I love it too!

Guarding Eden by Examplars from the Heart
40ct Mello from Picture This Plus
called for GAST fibers

I'm happy with how it came out!

I did start something new as well.  Here it is.  Can't tell much yet.  Do you know what it is?

It's Jane Tindall!  I'm using the called for 40ct Confederate Gray fabric from Weeks Dye Works and the called for AVAS and Gloriana Florimell.  I like the Florimell better than the regular Gloriana.  This is a fun stitch so far.  Except for the one stitch off when I got the border to meet at the end when I had to rip a bit.  But the green of the border meets and I'm happy!

Mia is all recovered from her surgery.  It was a gradual process, but by the end of the week, she was back to her usual bouncy, lovely self.  I just hope she doesn't go back to climbing the curtains!  lol!

Mia likes to help with the groceries by checking out what's in the bags when I get home.  She also likes to go in the bags (I use reusable bags) when they're empty -- or not empty.  Here she is helping with the groceries.

Mia also manages to get all her toys stuck under one of my stitching stash drawers.  We always have to retrieve them for her and then she is happy.  After one of these toy recoveries, the boy child decided to put all Mia's toys around her while she slept.

Can you tell she loves balls?  lol!  She has other toys as well, but these are the ones that got lost.

In other news, the girl child got home last night.  Yay!  We all trooped out to pick her up at the train station, then we were off to her favorite Italian restaurant.  It's a bit dark, but here are the kids at the restaurant.

Aren't they cute?  :D

I wish everyone a very happy, wonderful Christmas.  Belated happy Hanukkah too!  Thanks for stopping by and saying hi!

Maisie used to climb our curtains as well - in fact, she also climbed up a quilt that we had on the wall and pulled it down! She has, fortunately, grown out of that now ;)

Love your finish and your new start!

Hi Margaret! Love the new A&E! I bet Don will find a great frame for those colors. Glad Mia is doing well. Do you think you and Kathy want to come over one day next week to stitch? Let's really try to get together. Hmmm....trying to figure out which restaurant that is??? Hugs, Nancy

I'm singing Gloria for the finish of your wonderful Guarding Eden!!! It is stunningly wonderful!
You know my cats are afraid of bags...I've tried to see if they would get in one but they won't. Now baskets...boxes...that's a whole different story. Red covers his face with his tail just like Mia :) CUTE!
And your sweet kids....darling photo!

I love how Guarding Eden turned out! And I love the new start. I will be starting it soon, and I'm wondering if the fabric I'm planning to use--PTP 40 ct. fog--so that I don't have to invest in the confed. gray, will be too light. Is confed. gray medium dark IRL? Hmmmmm. Mia is such a sweetie--you just want to cuddle her.

Your Guarding Eden looks fabulous Margaret. You've gotten off to a fast start on Jane too... I hate it when borders are one stitch off. Hopefully it wasn't too painful to get it meet.
That little Mia is just the cutest little kitty. She's going to be a petite one isn't she?

Once again Margaret you have amazed me with your stitching!! Guarding Eden is just beautiful. And Jan Tindall...I'm so envious. I had to SIT on my hands and NOT order. I'm sure I'll be sorry for that. Glad that your daughter made it home safely and that Mia is doing so well. Don't you wish you could sleep like a cat....all curled up in a ball? She's darliing. Have a wonderful Christmas. Hugs

Your Guarding Eden is soooo coool - AAACCKK - I can't believe you've started Jane - it will be SO fun to watch you go on that one. I agree - I adore Florimell - it's my fave new thread and I just covet more and more of it ! Mia is a cutey pie - hiding in that bag - cats are so entertaining. Nice start on Jane. I do have a question as I heard one of the AVAS silks is not available any longer? I will email you later.

Wow, I just love your Guarding Eden Margaret! I think I'm going to have to try to fit that in for stitching next year!!

Glad to hear that Mia is recuperating nicely. Bailey goes in next week and I'm sure he's not going to be pleased when he gets home. I think that picture is so cute of her with all the toys around her!

Margaret I love your Guarding Eden! I LOVE what you did on the 'grass' section. what stitch is that? Maybe I should do that on Ann Rayner. Was it quicker than just regular fill-in? Do tell!

So glad you've got both of your kiddos there! Makes for a happy bustling house no doubt! And sweet little Mia....too cute for her own good! ;o)

Can't wait to watch Jane unfold!

I know you're more than thrilled to have the girl child home. There is nothing like having all of your kids together - even the furry ones!

I'm glad Mia has recovered well and didn't lose any of her spunk. She looks like an excellent helper with the shopping bags! Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Congratulations on finishing Guarding Eden, Margaret! It's really nice!

Don't you wonder what you did before Mia? She is so cute. Miss Kitty's favorite toys are strings/ribbons and the covered rubberbands Cait uses for her hair.

Glad you had time for Italian with the kids - it's a cute picture of them.
