Your Jane - its taking my breath away...or is it my cough??? No definitely your Jane. She is so gorgeous. As coincidence will have it I just received that chart in the mail. I am totally excited to see you stitch her. I don't think Jane will make it to the top of my list of a while...I just got her to have her ( you know how it is). Can't wait to see your next progress.

Fantastic news Margaret! I've been away for a couple of weeks and trying to catch up. Jane is total bliss - I love what I am seeing but I will just have to be happy hooking some of the motifs on my A&E rug - I don't think I could start another big sampler right now but she's been in my stash for a long time. Are you using silk or DMC? Mel

Margaret, we're definitely on the same wavelength, I'd say. The PTP fabric for Catharine McNeal is 40 count Legacy. I've had good luck ordering from PTP's website when my LNS doesn't have it--it came in about 10 days from PTP, and they didn't charge my credit card until it shipped, plus they notified me every step of the way that they'd received my order when I first ordered, and that they shipped on the day they shipped it. Very happy with the fabric, which is somewhat meatier and plumper than Lakeside, but not so plump that you'll have a problem with a needle going through the holes.
