Just a small post

So I've finished my Palindrome (reversible cable) scarf.  It's quite cool.

I used Woolfolk Far in color number 10.  It's such a soft yarn, very squishy!  I used 4 skeins to make the scarf, with a tiny bit left over.

Here are a few pics from our birthday celebration for the boy child last Sunday.  We went into the city so we could see the girl child, who is always so busy these days.

But then, the very next day, this happened.

Back to school one more time.

I hope everyone who celebrates Easter has/had a good and joyous day.  Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  Have a great week!

Love that scarf. You all look rather chilled on your outing. Not too warm yet by you?

What a beautiful scarf! Looks very complicated. I never knitted anything that was reversible! Well done!

Love the scarf. And love, as always, to see the pics of your fabulous family. I had the same reaction to the chilliness as Vickie did. It fools us here--one day warm, one day chilly, and bright flowers that make you think it's warm when you leave the house without enough outerwear. You could send the scarf though and then I'd be warm enough!

That scarf is beautiful! Visits are to short. Mia looks quiet content. We took a short road trip on Saturday and Miss Callie Mae was very distressed with our leaving

You get through the knitting Margaret. It looks cold on your day of celebration - good weather for wearing the hand knitted designs.

The scarf turned out so well, Margaret - I will have to add that to my list! Happy birthday to the boy child and, as always, I am envious of your day trip to NYC!

That is a gorgeous scarf.

It's so hard to imagine Easters with the kids all grown up ... You do it so well! Thanks for being an inspiration.

OHHHHHH the scarf is gorgeous - beautiful tranquil color. Your DD looks absolutely gorgeous in her very fashionable attire. SO NYC ! looks like it might be still cool there - Oh how I wish - we've already had 90 degrees here - so WRONG. What's next on the needles my friend or are you back to ACGAS? or some other lovely stitching. Take care Mel

Love the scarf - such a pretty color and pattern! It looks like you enjoyed some delicious food on the birthday outing. And it really is amazing how quickly time passes. Hard to believe your son will be graduating this year!

Pretty, pretty! Love the pics with your DH concentrating on his phone! What a fun day and the food looks great - as does the picture! That table really set a nice background.

It's funny, but now I find I see all your stuff on IG first and have to blink twice when I read your blog post! Love that scarf!

That must have been a bittersweet moment sending your son off to college for the final few weeks, Margaret! How quickly these four years have passed.

Your scarf is amazing--every time I see something like that I'm more determined than ever to learn how to knit when I retire :)

Happy almost April!

Great scarf, Margaret. And the weather still seems to cooperate for you to wear it, lol.
Nice birthday celebration, we celebrate our birthdays the same way - going to a nice restaurant and having a delicious meal all of us together if possible. If not it's the next time we meet. Great family pictures :))

Beautiful scarf! I love cable stitching. I must look up this wonderful pattern and will try that yarn.

Happy birthday to your DS. It looks like your NYC meal was delicious. There are so many wonderful places to eat in the city…my DS always manages to find the best ones.

Glad things are going well with the family Margaret. The kids are so grown up, where did the time go?? Your scarf is lovely.....I'm not much of a knitter other than the occasional dishrag. I'm hoping to reteach myself to crochet soon....haven't done it in probably 30+ years but I bought a book and some needles just need to find the time to practice.
