Rowe rowe rowe your cables....

I'm enjoying knitting Rowe so much.  It's a beautiful sweater and it's also fun to knit.  I finished both sleeves.

And I've started the back of the sweater now.

It's going to take a while to knit this one!  But I love it.

Mia has found a nice new place for her winter bed.

She enjoys being able to look out the window without moving from her cozy nest, and to be in the sun when it's sunny.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  Sorry my stitching mojo has disappeared again.

Your sweater is beautiful. We have Miss Callie Mae's cat condo in front of the window so she can look outside at the birds and sunshine--she also seems to enjoy it. I sometimes wonder if she is warm enough (sleeping in front of drafty window) and she always seems fine.

Beautiful color! Your sweater has a Celtic look to it. Wish you were around the corner so you could tutor me in knitting. You are a wonder with any sort of needle! Mia looks quite content.
Have a great week,
Robyn

Sweet Mia. :)
What cool sleeves. ha! You are a wonder. Emerson asked me about cables the other day. I told him I have no clue how they are done, but they sure are cool. hmm. Wonder if he is thinking about fancy socks or a sweater.

Oh Margaret, those cables! That back! I'm enjoying watching this grow. I with I had a nice nest like Mia. That's the life right there! Have a good week!

Beautiful knitting, Margaret! Those cables are yummy.

Yes I think the cold weather is here. Glad to see Mia is all set with her cozy bed!

Beautiful knitting Margaret! Love the color and I'm always a sucker for cables - lol. Mia looks so cozy...we all need a winter's nest to curl up in and nap.

Gorgeous cables! And both sleeves are the same length! Do you knit two at a time?

Your Rowe is,stunning!! I checked out the Ravelery page (thanks for,the link) and its is a beautiful piece - I want to knit it too!! I trust you are knitting it for yourself??

How lucky for you that you got to go to Rhinebeck - oooohhh, I am so envious of you, it's my dream to go there someday.

I completely understand about wanting to knit, stitch, quilt, then knit, or stitch, or quilt - so many choices and so little time.

Keep us up-to-date on that gorgeous sweater!

you've done SO much stitching over the years - I think you deserve to be happy with your knitting. Rowe is looking absolutely gorgeous ! I think you are doing a super job. Is this one of the shop owners designs from the Wool People series? I have forgotten. I seem to be just the opposite - making good progress on my np and cross stitch projects and little progress on my knitting but it's so abnormally HOT here in the deep south - it's just not encouraging to be under wool. Hope November is good for you ! Mel

Hi Margaret,
What a gorgeous sweater! I still say it doesn't matter what craft you are doing as long as it is making you smile! Love your blog as always.

If you are happy and Mia is happy, then craft away however you please! The sweater is going to be lovely I can tell (but when was there ever a shade of blue I did not like?)

Gorgeous knitting. My mother would love to knit this. She's so gifted in cable-making and I can hardly master knit-purl!! Of course lovely kitty photos always make my day. Mia is beautiful.

Margaret, your Rowe is really coming together!! The sleeves look perfect. Don't remember which one of you will be the lucky one to actually wear this, but it ought to happen soon. Just in time for gold weather, which it looks like Mia is already settling in for.

Such lovely looking yarn in this sweater, Margaret! I'm always so impressed with your knitting skills :)

Miss Mia looks so content in her little bed--just sitting there watching the world go by. Ah... what a life!

Sweet Mia...she's a cutie patootie!
AND funny side note, Brownie Knits follows me and I her on Instagram...I think you met her in NY...well anyway I think she lives in Indiana...maybe even in my town (or close to it)! Small world...huh?!

Since I will probably never be a knitter ~ at least not past the simple scarf stage, and certainly not to the beautiful sweater stage, I love to see your knitting! Love the beautiful blue yarn! Mia is sweet all cozied up in her nest. :)

This sweater will be wonderful. I remember that when I was still knitting many many years ago I loved to stitch such patterns a lot. Cable knitting is so interesting.
