This might get boring.....

Nothing new here, I'm afraid.  Still plugging away on this Walking Tour Scarf.  It's getting longer, slowly but surely.

The colors are a bit off in the pictures -- a bit too garish.  In real life they are much prettier.

I'm back to the first motif bands again.  It's a pretty scarf and I'm enjoying all this fair isle.

I'm finally seeing the start of some tumbling blocks on my fussy cut star quilt.

I've got a bunch of different "white" fabrics to use and I'm hoping the tumbling blocks between the stars will look good.

It's time for the boy child to go back to college.  I'm going to miss him a lot.  So will Mia.  Although first, I think Mia will catch up on her sleep.  lol!

(That's the boy child's bracelet.)

Cat in the hat.

Thanks for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week.

Love the scarf and the quilt blocks! I, too, also hate to see my kids go, but I do enjoy getting the house back in order when they're gone!

The scarf is really looking gorgeous. Now that you are back to row 1, does it seem more boring for you to knit it? You know.. like the suspense is over?

Mia is quite the comedienne!

Your scarf is so beautiful, and your fussy cut star quilt is looking wonderful. Have you seen the fussy cut quilts that have the fussy cuts in the center of each square? They are wonderful--perhaps an idea for your next quilt.

Your scarf is amazing!! Love all the details with the various bands and colors. Oh sweet Mia; I am sure she soaked all the Boy Child lovin' while he was home. Your tumbling blocks are perfection.

Cat in the hat is so funny. I can't imagine how all those colors are worked into knitted intricate designs. But if you're having fun, I believe you.

I know you will miss your son so much when he leaves for college, Margaret--it's hard to get used to that "quietness" again, isn't it?

Love your scarf--it is absolutely lovely :)

I hadn't noticed the Ohio Star in your closeups of the scarf. It really is looking good. You'll be a FI expert by the time this is done!

Mia is going to be crushed. She's had her boy home for quite some time.

Your scarf is wonderful. Someday I will learn fair isle knitting…I am a novice knitter so it may take some time!

Your quilt blocks are so perfect and quite pretty…I am impressed. I'm a far better quilter than knitted. LOL

My boys are out of college know but I do remember how sad it was when they had to return to school after that long winter break.

What a lovely scarf. You are knitting a band sampler of sorts. I can only imagine how complicated that must be. Blues and whites - what can I say - I love them. Mia is such a sweetie - she WILL miss her boy when he leaves for school. (And so will you).

the scarf is really looking gorgeous. I hope you reach your desired length before you get bored with it. Maybe the stars will be enough thread in hand to keep you satisfied. Take care Mel

Just look at all those amazing samplers on the wall! So much talent under one roof! What can I say! Wow!
Is there a pattern for the scarf? It's been a while since I knit fair isle sweaters...but I think I could do it agIn:). May not look as good as yours though. Wow!
Hugs. Marg...good sport your kitty!
