So exciting!

What's so exciting?  I've started working on the part of His Eye is on the Sparrow that's below the words!  Hooray!

But I should show the top part first.

So yeah.  I finished the top 1/3 of the sampler, then stitched that darned line of stitching under the words.  Then I finished the green of the left border all the way down to the bottom left corner and a bit around too, so that's a good thing!  And then I worked on the interior!  New motifs!  Yay!

I'm happy to be working on new motifs.  lol!

Here's my fussy cut star for the week.  I can't remember which collection this fabric is from.

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes about my shoulder.  Both shoulders are actually a bit iffy, but it was the left one that decided to totally lose it.  Luckily, it seems to be able to handle stitching as long as I support my left arm with a pillow.  I am mostly back to normal,  hopefully.  I have yet to try knitting.  Yikes!

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!

It's funny how each craft has a different effect on our muscles. I agree with you about using a cushion, it makes it easier for me too. I love your progress, it's great to see this one grow and new motifs are always a good thing:-) Mia is so cute holding onto the cable, she's such a sweet pea.

The motifs are always the treat for stitchers. And you deserve a treat as you soldier on through a funky shoulder to do a significant amount of needlework this past week!

What a beautiful sampler! And I absolutely love all your stars; I can't wait to see how they look when you put them together.

New motifs to stitch is always a good thing. You're making really good progress! I'm not sure I've seen one of these finished in blogland.

I generally stitch with support under my elbows unless I'm in bed. Especially if I get to stitch for a good chunk of time. My elbow gets crampy if I don't. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better and I hope the cold weather doesn't make it worse.

I'm loving every single stitch of it Margaret!

There's more to "His Eye is on the Sparrow?" The first third is so spectacular, I was thinking that was the entire thing. Is it me, or has Mia caught herself a "mouse?" (grin)

Your Sparrow looks fantastic! I have to get back to mine soon... I have switched to making some holiday ornaments for family. And some good news for you, you are even further than 1/3 as the pages for the bottom are only 1/2 pages! You are flying right along! :) All the animals are so sweet. Have a great week! I am hearing snow may be in the forecast?? imagine, already? Too soon!!

Your needle is on FIRE! Your sampler is coming along beautifully. I thought this piece was stunning the minute she released it; but I don't dare even thing about stitching it yet. I have so many WIPs and two are BAPs. I can enjoy watching your progress and eagerly await this beauty framed and on your wall. Sorry to hear the shoulder is acting up. Don't over do it. :)
