2 finishes....

I finished my Hex on the Beach quilt top!

Hex on the Beach byTula Pink
from a quilt kit using Tula Pink
Salt Water fabrics

I also finished Betsy's House!

Betsy's House by Plum Street Samplers
40ct Vintage Lt. Examplar
GAST called for

Not sure why the color is a bit weird in the grass there.  Anyway, it was a fun stitch, and just the perfect size to get going on making those little x's again.

The two friends have been having a good time.  Here's Mia taking a break while playing with her favorite toy with the boy child.

And of course Mia's favorite position (not!):

I'm so happy -- Wimbledon has started!!!!  Hooray!

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!

Gorgeous...simply wonderful Hex on the Beach! What a lovely mix of colors! Betsy's House is just in time for the 4th! I have a "patriotic" house I stitched years ago and I love to display it this time of year.
Glad to see Mia is enjoying her time with her favorite fellow.

Oh Margaret, Congrats on finishing Hex on the Beach quilt top. It's spectacular. How in the world do you match a backing for it? Do you only use a rectangle for the back and let the sides of the hex's alone? Love Betsy's House is wonderful. Boy you stitch fast and beautifully.
love Annette
