late TUSAL and Hex madness

No stitching this week.  Since finishing Rachel, I've been working exclusively on my Hex on the Beach.  I'm a quarter of the way done!

10 rows complete!  The quilt is folded over on itself so as to fit in the picture better.  I can't wait to change colors.

I am late posting my TUSAL for May.  Here are my ORTs.

Lots of red from Rachel Howells.

The boy child and cat have been settling back nicely.  Boy child has been busy applying for summer jobs.  Cat has been showing her disapproval of boy child being gone so long.  But she's giving in gradually to the old ways.

Grudgingly cuddling.

Much closer.

Back to normal.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope you all have a great week!

That Hex on the Beach quilt is to die for. Now I'm kicking myself for not getting it.

Looks like Eli and Mia are both settling into their old ways which is a good thing. Hope that Eli finds some summer employment soon. Poor Nick has been working since the day he got home - 13 days out of 14. I think that the hard reality of a working life are hitting him hard! LOL

What a beautiful quilt, it's lovely to see it grow. Mia is so like Poppy who loves our teenage son Matthew. She can often be found in his room.

That's going to be quite some quilt. Not used to you showing no sampler stitching. How does it feel to take a break from it?

Know you're glad to have your son home for the summer. Did I tell you ours is moving in with us over the weekend because he is starting a new job here in Cincinnati next week. The rest of his family will be moving down here a bit later.

Great colours on this quilt. My first quilt will also have lots and lots of red fabrics - at least that's the idea, lol.

Oh my, hexi is beautiful and I can't wait to see your progress!!

The quilt on BC isn't so bad either...LOL.

Isn't it funny how our furry pets will give us a bit of "punishment" for being away and then back to the cuddle. Glad to see BC is home for the summer.
