So close! Also moving and early TUSAL

Well, I was going to wait to post till I finished all that blasted grass on ATS, but I decided it was too much pressure.  I'm so close!!

We'll do that pretend thing again.  Much better.  (once the grass is done, ATS is all done!)

I also want to post my TUSAL for this month since it's due on Thursday.

Sorry it always looks the same.  I should start keeping the ORTs for the month in one container and then add them to this one.

Lots of busy stuff going on here as usual.  The boy child is now laid up for the summer after having some minor surgery on Tuesday.  The healing process will be long and not much fun, but he's happy to get it done and out of the way so he's ready for college.  He's currently hoping his schedule for the fall will arrive today.  Fingers crossed!

The girl child came home over the weekend.  She and I packed and packed on Saturday, the father type and the girl child and I did some moving into a U-Haul, and Sunday the father type and the girl child headed down to her new apartment and moved her in officially!  Yay!  I think she's pretty happy with her new digs.  Here are a few pictures.

And relaxing in a restaurant after.  The girl child changed into a vintage 80's Laura Ashley jumper of mine that she found while digging through a closet instead of packing.  lol!  She also took my vintage 80's Laura Ashley bridesmaid dress from my sister's wedding.  (Good thing she didn't find my vintage Laura Ashley wedding dress.  :D   )

Girl child is happy with her vintage clothing and her new apartment!

The boy child and I stayed home since the boy child is laid up recuperating and I'm his nurse.  The father type and girl child had a lot to move, but I think the father type loved it -- he had his girl all to himself.  He doesn't get enough father-daughter time.

Mia has been doing her usual thing all this time.  Some bubble wrap was left lying around and guess who decided it was great for a bed?  Silly girl!

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I always love visiting with you.  Have a great week!

I do hope her apartment is close by. I hope your son improves daily. Mia will help him do that I am sure. :) My almost 14 year old daughter has recently informed me that she is into vintage clothing also. We have gone to Salvation Army and Good Will a few times each now.

I've been so inspired by your photos of ATS - I drug mine out looked at that HUGE piece of linen and the dozens of pretty GAST threads and promptly packed it right back from whence it came LOL ! One day maybe . . . but not today! Hope you DS recovers well and I hope you keep busy to keep your mind off your DD being on her on in the big city. Hugs mel

You're so close to a finish! I'm not sure if I'd hang in there with all that grass to stitch at the end. I hope the boy child mends quickly and is a polite patient, I know men can be difficult when they're not feeling well. Best wishes to the girl child in her new home.

Ooooooooof! That is a LOT of grass. I'd be cross-eyed by now from the endless threading and stitching of green. (I'd probably have to do the grass in bits as the pattern went along to avoid kicking it under a piece of furniture in frustration. lol)

Hope the boy-child gets well soon!! I'm sure that's a bummer for summer, to be laid up like that. :(
