Another Ann

I was still doing a lot of that secret stitching last week, but I finally started a new project over the weekend. I was actually feeling overwhelmed by all the choices I had -- it made me realize how much stash I have!  But I finally settled on another Ann.  Not much to show yet, but I know I'm going to love the colors!

Wimbledon has been very entertaining so far.  And today is a big day with all the big players playing.  Just saw Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge settling down in the royal box to watch Murray. Fingers crossed Murray doesn't get nervous!

Mia has been crazy all week, but slowly settling back down to routine.  She's started burrowing under quilts a lot recently.

The boy child has been giving her lots of exercise recently too.  I've never seen a cat pant before, but that's exactly what she was doing the other day!  Her ears were quite hot too!  Here she is after one of her workouts.

She was exhausted!

Summer is really starting now.  I have to admit it's nice to have school out.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  Hope everyone has a great week!  For you fellow Wimbledon fans -- go fab four!  :D   (I heard a commentator say that Murray was the equivalent of Ringo.  lol!)

I'm so excited to see your newest Ann come to life. It's a beautiful piece isn't it? Love the pics of Mia and the BC. Have a wonderful week stitching the days away!! Hugs

Love your new start! It's going to be gorgeous!

Have the boy child be careful with Mia when he plays hard with her. When her ears are hot that means she's overheated and could be dangerous for her.

Hugs!

Exciting with every new thing you start! Can't wait. The word 'stash' gives me feeling of guilt, though.... sigh. Mia is so cute, as always. No post without Mia:) Maybe you should do a photoseries: how to exercise a cat?

Great new start. Love the pictures of your cat (and especially love the quilts she's on!) Have just posted a pic on my blog of my rather large cat, maybe I should get your boy child to come over and exercise my cat too!

I'm very excited to see another beautiful sampler materialize under your gifted fingers!

Yeah, the first time I saw a cat pant I was scared! You just don't think that they do that...but they do! I am glad that Mia has such a wonderful playmate...hopefully she will start playing nice with her sister :-)

Stay cool and enjoy Wimbeldon!

Ann S looks good so far Margaret. Great photos of Mia - she and the boy child really have a special bond, don't they? :)

Really enjoying the tennis this year - all the fab four (yes, Murray is definitely Ringo, the grumpy git!) are through, despite a few dropped sets/injuries and the women's tennis has been a great standard this year too :D
