Yay for Jane!

Jane Tindall is all finished!  Yay!

Jane Tindall by Needlework Press
40ct Confederate Gray linen by Weeks Dye Works
AVAS and Gloriana Florimell fibers as called for

Isn't she pretty?

Please take note if you're planning to stitch Jane.  You will definitely need 2 skeins of AVAS 3734 to finish all that grass.

I love her though!

The other day, the boy child settled down on my bed and promptly fell asleep.  (This happens a lot since the boy child insists on keeping teenage hours despite having to get up for school at 6am.)   Mia decided to settle down on his legs -- one of her favorite places to sleep.  She was grooming herself in preparation for a nice snooze, and then....   Well, I guess she wasn't quite finished before she dropped off.

So cute!!

The girl child is home for a few days.  She's done with all of her finals and it's finally between semesters.  Hopefully she can relax a bit before the next semester starts.  She has something to do back at college though, so it won't be a full week of being able to feed her and spoil her.  Ah well.

So who's sick of snow?  lol!  I'm hoping for no big snow storms this week.  Knock on wood!  It's exam week at the high school so even more reason to hope.  Now who is watching the Australian Open?  It's good so far, no?  As for the football -- sorry, no football watchers in this house.  I hope whichever team you're rooting for wins the Super Bowl.  :D  I'll probably be watching the Jane Austen BBC marathon on PBS instead.  lol!

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I love reading your comments and catching up with you all.  Here's to cold cold temps instead of snow and ice.  I'll go for that any day!

Love the pics of the boy child and sweet Mia...those are treasures to keep in the family albums!! Sorry you don't get to spoil girl child too long, but I know she will have lots of good mom time to her credit when she returns to school.

Have a great week, and yes getting somewhat tired of the snow...more then that is the gloom, I would love some nice sunshine! Hope all is safe up there!

Jane is stunning! I've already seen a couple of comments on other blogs where they're tracking down another skein of AVAS due to your information. Thank you for sharing that!

I wish I was half as limber as Mia! The picture of her and your son is just too cute. They have a real bond. Enjoy your time with your daughter!

Mia is adorable laying on your son's leg. My ds often falls asleep on our bed and he is almost 25! The grass is always greener....

I am also sick of snow and winter in general! We will support each for market!

No tennis watchers here, although if I turned on the TV during the day I'd probably watch it. Our house mainly watches football and basketball. Boring! LOL

Congratulations, Margaret! Jane is just beautiful - so pretty! Ahhh, I bet this was a cinch to stitch after all the queen stitches in the Richmond sampler! ;-)

Mia looks adorable. Does your son read your blog at all and know how he is featured, vertically and horizontally? Too funny!

I saw on the news last night the deep freeze back East. Oh brrr. Makes this rain seems like sunshine! Stay warm!

Margaret said...

Hey our sunshine looks good eh! at the Open. One thing about summer in Australia if you aren't etting flloded out or burnt out with bushfires and the celcius is hovering and can't go to the beach, ther eis always the tennis to watch. Go Kim Klisters. Enjoyed your post. Girl child looks relaxed just the thing for exams.

Mia and BC are too cute; also, did you say "Snow"? I'm watching the up-to-ten dumping down now. Sigh. Hope it doesn't interfere with our court date tomorrow. eep.

It already made the LNS close and kept me from getting another skein to finish the fill on that freebie! I'm SO close! If only I could stitch as productively as you do, Margaret!

Love Jane~ I would love to stitch her up after I finish Isabella, which is at a slow start. I don't have much stiyching time, so my projects go in slow motion, even though my heart wants fast! You inspire me every time I stop to visit!!!! Thanks for all the eye candy~ Kim
