My lovelies for the day

Here is Mary Roe all finished.  I just adore her!

Mary Roe by the Scarlett House
40ct Meadow Rue linen
Belle Soie called for

She was such a fun stitch!

And I couldn't resist a little piece from market from Blackbird Designs, their limited edition kit, Wild Garden.

Blackbird Designs Wild Garden
fabric and fibers in kit

Isn't it pretty?  I think I might make it into a pillow or something.  We'll see.  I squeezed all three of my initials on the top instead of just two, so I moved the little button to a different place.  And yes, there's one little mistake that I refuse to undo.  My Amish error.  lol!  Can you see it?  Oh well.

Carmen of Cardan Antiques and Needlework had a giveaway of prizes she gathered from Nashville market.  And I won one of the prizes!!

It's a lovely little A&E pincube!  Isn't it great?  I just love it!  Thanks so much, Carmen!

Here are my two snugglebugs snuggling.  I don't think Mia liked it particularly.  lol!

And here's Mia enjoying a snuggle sandwiched between a couple of pillows.  Silly girl!

I know it's Sunday instead of my usual Monday.  Pretty weird, huh?  lol!  I just finished Wild Garden so I figured I'd do a post right now for a change.  Hope everyone in the US remembered to spring forward.  Ugh -- I'm so not looking forward to waking up in the dark again.  Hey government people, how about putting the time change back to where it used to be??  Please?????

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a lovely week!

You go girl! Those needles of yours must be smoking! Both the sampler and Blackbird piece are lovely.

Mia is such a funny girl and oh so smart.

What's up next from your stitching basket?

Congratulations on two beautiful finishes! I love them both! I ordered the BBD one but it hasn't even been shipped to me yet. If you are interested in trading Mary Roe could you let me know?

You're lucky to win all those giveaways! I think you should buy a lottery ticket!

Mia is looking her usual sweet self!

I don't like the time change either but at least today it is a dry bright day here which helps a bit. Have a good rest of the day!

Mary Roe is stunning, and so is the BBD, which I've been admiring in the shop but haven't bought. (A minor attempt at self-control, which you may have undone.)

I'm glad you did though... both Mary Roe and the BBD Wild Garden piece look fabulous.

Smoking, jetting needles going on there Margaret. I've been stitching on Wild Garden myself and I'm just about done. I think I'm going to put my Mom's initials on this one. She loved gardens and flowers!

I have Mary Roe on order and can't wait to get started on her. I love the COLORS. She will be a great piece to stitch.

Hugs to you and sweet, silly Mia. Cari

Your son looks so handsome with his haircut. And Mia, what a doll. Did you know I have a new kitty too? Since I've been such a bad blogger and haven't blogged about her, maybe you don't. Anyway, it's our first girl kitty ever, and we've been a family for 30 years, lol. She is so very sweet :-)

Hey Margaret

Just read about your BBD basket on the Blackbird Girl's blog. Your piece is lovely.

By the way, I was working on my blog and have just about crashed. I so enjoy your comments, I did not want you to think I have abandoned the ship after AAWFAA.

Here's the link.http://www.samplingsfromspringcreek.blogspot.com/

So are you still holding on about your latest stitchig project?

Jenny said...

I am so glad to have some time to come over and spend with one of my alltime top-favorite blogs! :-) It has been way too long.

Your finishes are gorgeous as always and I am thrilled to see that the BBD kit turns out to be so pretty! Makes me happy that I took the chance and ordered that one. (Not as thrilled with their latest book, but that is all right - you win some, you lose some.. LOL)
Mary Roe is new to me and she is so cool! What an adorable mix of motifs and colors! My favorite is the shepherdess, who looks a little bit surprised.... The rice-stitch hill is so pretty and the colors of the flower vine are mild and yummy - what a beauty!
