First off, my TUSAL.
I'm getting in the mood for Christmas (for a change), so I used my elf as a model for the TUSAL pic. It's by Lori Ann Corelis. A new TUSAL is starting up for 2012. If you're interested, go here for all the details. It's lots of fun.
So now the reason why I have no stitching update for you. I'm afraid I'll be doing model stitching for the foreseeable future. I've taken over the model stitching of a model for Paulette of Plum Street Samplers from Nicole. And I also have a model or two to stitch for Vickie of Needlework Press. So no stitching update -- I've been working my fingers to the bone. lol!
What I will try to do in the next few weeks is show some of my stitching from the past. Hopefully you won't get bored with me as I do these models.
We did have a nice Thanksgiving at our house. The girl child came home for the whole 4 day weekend, which was nice. And the father type did his usual magic in the kitchen. This is only part of the feast.
And my lovely peoples.
Mia got into a bit of mischief over the weekend too. She started exploring the closet -- it's gotten a cleaning recently so she's been enjoying looking around. Then she started climbing.
Methinks she will not be allowed access to the closet anymore. lol!
Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi. I hope everyone has a great week! (Here are the two friends, together again.)

Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Looking forward to seeing all the finished pieces you are stealthily stitching!! My curiosity is raging right now! Hugs from Kentucky - kelley
Oh Margaret how lovely to hear you are model stitching, at least we see some stitching when the product is out LOL.
Lovely to see you and your family had a great Thanksgiving Weekend:))
Mia is so naughty!!
How fun to be doing model stitching! Look forward to seeing those, and your previous work. Mia is cute, even in her mischiefs:)
I'm be suffering from major Margaret stitching pics withdrawal while you're working on those models.
Now Mia knows all about climbing... you're in trouble now!
Margaret --
Glad you had a nice Thanksgiving with your family! Nice pic of them too:))
I'm sure your needles will be flying and before you know it you will have them done and be back to your own samplers:))
Have a good week
Model stitching sounds like fun and a nice change.
Very yummy Thanksgiving at your house. So you have a live-in chef?
Mia is just too cute in that closet!
Happy Thanksgiving...it looked wonderful. Keeping your stitching a secret will be sheer torture for me. I so love drooling over ALL of your work. But, congratulations for doing some wonderful models. I'll be looking forward to their purchase !!! Hugs dear friend and hugs to sweet Mia too!!
Eeeek, my nightshirt is on the Internets! :)
Toujours bien belle Mia!
Must be fun to get a sneak peek while model stitching and I know you will do a beautiful job!
Delicious looking Thanksgiving feast and nice that the family could be together. Mia looks like she's not sure what she has gotten herself into perched on top of the clothes. She looks quite content perched on her boy though. :)
Your elf is so cute! I just love him!
My Gracie is a clothes climber too, even though she is 8 now! She runs when she hears the door open!
The others are too fat for such activity! LOL!
It looks like you had a fantastic Thanksgiving! I can't wait to see the great unveil by the designers when they're ready. :)
Glad to hear your Thanksgiving was so nice, Margaret--it is always special when the whole family is together again. Can your husband give mine cooking lessons? He won't even go near the kitchen except to make pancakes :)
Your model stitching sounds fun--I'm sure it will be interesting to stitch a variety of things you may not have stitched before!
Although you're not sharIng any picture of your WIPs, we all ow you've been busy stitching!! I love low key holiday with family. Your Thanksgiving Day dinner looks very nice and yummy. Lucky your family!!

I look forward to your posts - happy stitching!
Mia The Climber - do you have to tie the tree upright?
Congratulations on the model stitching! Your needle is a really fast one so I'm sure you'll have no problems meeting deadlines. Will you be able to tell us which ones you've stitched?
I don't think sampler lovers would ever be bored looking at your prior pieces. What was your first piece? A sampler? Who got you interested in stitching? Let's hear the story of Margaret while you are perfectly stitching for a designer.
I used to model stitch its fun to do but makes for poor blog entires!
I love your modele stitching, very good photos !
kisses of Paris
Nice to see the family together. We'll look forward to seeing your models! That little Mia..she's a scamp!
That food looks delicious! Glad that you had such a nice Thanksgiving. I'll miss your sampler stitching updates because I always love seeing what you're working on but, have fun with the model stitching (of course, I'm dying to know what the designs will be like!!)
Love your elf! Yum to all the food! I can't wait to see a review of your stitching!
Everything looks great! The turkey looks so perfect you could use it an ad. How did he manage that? Mine always looks messy as hell.
I really love your windows in your dining room. I wish I had that much light in that room. *sniff*
Silly kitty. Mine likes to go through my shoe rack and knock everything down. Grrrrrrr!
Have fun with your model stitching. :)
Looks and sounds like you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving with your family! It's great that your daughter could make it home! Love the windows in your home. Very cool. Great pics of Mia as always!
Can't wait to see the models you are stitching!!!
Looks like a grand time--and gosh, aren't your windows pretty!
Happy Belated Thanksgiving!! I can't wait to see your model stitching! I'm sure it will be splendid!
That Mia cracks me up!! Her eyes are so mischievous!!
Hey Margaret !
It looks like you guys had a nice Thanksgiving. I hope Mia doesn't decide to climb your Xmas tree the way she has been climbing in the closet!
Oh I love your little elf! You have the neatest collection of pieces from different artists! That Mia is just looking more and more adult every time I see her - so different from the little kitten you first brought home. And now climbing in the closet?! LOL! Not good!
