TUSAL and no updates??

First off, my TUSAL.

I'm getting in the mood for Christmas (for a change), so I used my elf as a model for the TUSAL pic.  It's by Lori Ann Corelis.  A new TUSAL is starting up for 2012.  If you're interested, go here for all the details.  It's lots of fun.

So now the reason why I have no stitching update for you.  I'm afraid I'll be doing model stitching for the foreseeable future.  I've taken over the model stitching of a model for Paulette of Plum Street Samplers from Nicole.  And I also have a model or two to stitch for Vickie of Needlework Press.  So no stitching update -- I've been working my fingers to the bone.   lol!

What I will try to do in the next few weeks is show some of my stitching from the past.  Hopefully you won't get bored with me as I do these models.

We did have a nice Thanksgiving at our house.  The girl child came home for the whole 4 day weekend, which was nice.  And the father type did his usual magic in the kitchen.  This is only part of the feast.

And my lovely peoples.

Mia got into a bit of mischief over the weekend too.  She started exploring the closet -- it's gotten a cleaning recently so she's been enjoying looking around.  Then she started climbing.

Methinks she will not be allowed access to the closet anymore.  lol!

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week!  (Here are the two friends, together again.)

I'm be suffering from major Margaret stitching pics withdrawal while you're working on those models.
Now Mia knows all about climbing... you're in trouble now!

I'm sure your needles will be flying and before you know it you will have them done and be back to your own samplers:))

Must be fun to get a sneak peek while model stitching and I know you will do a beautiful job!
Delicious looking Thanksgiving feast and nice that the family could be together. Mia looks like she's not sure what she has gotten herself into perched on top of the clothes. She looks quite content perched on her boy though. :)

Your elf is so cute! I just love him!

My Gracie is a clothes climber too, even though she is 8 now! She runs when she hears the door open!
The others are too fat for such activity! LOL!

Glad to hear your Thanksgiving was so nice, Margaret--it is always special when the whole family is together again. Can your husband give mine cooking lessons? He won't even go near the kitchen except to make pancakes :)

Your model stitching sounds fun--I'm sure it will be interesting to stitch a variety of things you may not have stitched before!

Congratulations on the model stitching! Your needle is a really fast one so I'm sure you'll have no problems meeting deadlines. Will you be able to tell us which ones you've stitched?

I don't think sampler lovers would ever be bored looking at your prior pieces. What was your first piece? A sampler? Who got you interested in stitching? Let's hear the story of Margaret while you are perfectly stitching for a designer.

Everything looks great! The turkey looks so perfect you could use it an ad. How did he manage that? Mine always looks messy as hell.
I really love your windows in your dining room. I wish I had that much light in that room. *sniff*
Silly kitty. Mine likes to go through my shoe rack and knock everything down. Grrrrrrr!

Have fun with your model stitching. :)

Hey Margaret !
It looks like you guys had a nice Thanksgiving. I hope Mia doesn't decide to climb your Xmas tree the way she has been climbing in the closet!

Oh I love your little elf! You have the neatest collection of pieces from different artists! That Mia is just looking more and more adult every time I see her - so different from the little kitten you first brought home. And now climbing in the closet?! LOL! Not good!
