The colors are a bit off in the pictures -- a bit too garish. In real life they are much prettier.
I'm finally seeing the start of some tumbling blocks on my fussy cut star quilt.
I've got a bunch of different "white" fabrics to use and I'm hoping the tumbling blocks between the stars will look good.
It's time for the boy child to go back to college. I'm going to miss him a lot. So will Mia. Although first, I think Mia will catch up on her sleep. lol!
(That's the boy child's bracelet.)
Cat in the hat.
Thanks for stopping by and saying hi. I hope everyone has a great week.
hahaha! Love cat in the hat the best! ;)

Love the scarf and the quilt blocks! I, too, also hate to see my kids go, but I do enjoy getting the house back in order when they're gone!
ReplyDeleteThe scarf is really looking gorgeous. Now that you are back to row 1, does it seem more boring for you to knit it? You know.. like the suspense is over?
ReplyDeleteMia is quite the comedienne!
Lovely progress on the scarf!
ReplyDeleteYour scarf and fussy cut stars are looking good. They will both be beautiful finishes!!
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is so beautiful, and your fussy cut star quilt is looking wonderful. Have you seen the fussy cut quilts that have the fussy cuts in the center of each square? They are wonderful--perhaps an idea for your next quilt.

ReplyDeleteCat in the hat is so funny. I can't imagine how all those colors are worked into knitted intricate designs. But if you're having fun, I believe you.
ReplyDeleteI know you will miss your son so much when he leaves for college, Margaret--it's hard to get used to that "quietness" again, isn't it?
