A Yuletide Welcome by Plum Street Samplers
called for linen in 40ct.
called for GAST and NPI
It was such a fun stitch! Paulette has my number these days -- I just love her designs!
Since I finished my stitching, and I'd been drooling over Kwiltykim's finish of her Wearwithall Stole, I went back to knitting.
Started the next color. I'm over halfway done!! Yay!
Mia helped with the knitting, of course.
Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi. The empty nest is quiet, the kids seem happy except for a cold here or there. Hope everyone has a great week!
Congrats on your sampler finish, it's so cute! Lovely :) Your knitting is also really lovely and colourful!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the sampler finish. Paulette is a fabulous designer isn't she? I also love, love, love the stole. If it were cold in Florida I'd knit it in a minute. It's beautiful. Hugs to sweet Mia and have a great week!
ReplyDeleteGreat stitching and knitting - congrats on the lovely finish.
ReplyDeleteOh, Margaret, I positively love your finish of Yuletide! What a beautiful piece. Maybe someday I will tackle it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous finish! Your knitting project is looking nice and tempting, too :D It's so hard to pick and choose which project to work on during fall and winter as there are tons of beautiful ones around, especially this time of the year. Mia, can you help?
ReplyDeleteYour finished sampler looks so good. Love Mia!

Congrats on your finish... Yuletide looks fabulous. I'm in love with your stole and I may just have to go to our local yarn shop and sign-up for a knitting class.

Such a lovely sampler - stitched beautifully, you should feel very proud! I must learn to knit me thinks! x
ReplyDeleteI see you are Mia's new BFF! Cute!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love your finish! I think this may be my favourite PSS design! And you're finished with plenty of time to spare for Christmas!
A beautiful finish, it's such an appealing design. Knitting is a magnet for cats, our two just seem to know when I take it out (no matter where they are in the house). Mia always looks so relaxed and content.
ReplyDeleteYuletide welcome is awesome. Love the mustard colored house. What a great knitting companion you have!
ReplyDeleteThis is indeed my all-time favorite PSS design! I agree, Paulette seems to have our number! Just wish I didn't work so I could stitch more and get as much accomplished as you seem to. Oh, who am I kidding, I still wouldn't get that much done! It's a beautiful finish, Margaret and I can't wait to see it dressed for the holidays in its frame.
ReplyDeleteThe knitting is beautiful, too! Well done, you!
Your YTW is just gorgeous! I have to have it now!!!!! Thanks for enabling. You are so inspiring. What's next?

ReplyDeleteYultide is on my list also! I haven't bought it yet, so the temptation to start is kept at bay - LOL. She certainly has quite a few numbers of the lot of us, doesn't she? The colors in your knitting are really pretty - will be perfect for autumn.
ReplyDeleteCaught up on your postings (I've been away from the blog a bit lately)...back to the quite routine, I see. Glad you are adjusting. It always makes things easier when the kiddies are doing okay - and Mia, of course. Happy bday to your hubby.
