Hairy hexes

I'm afraid people who are looking for cross stitch will be disappointed.  I seem to be in a hexie frame of mind these days.  I've got 23 rows out of 40 done so far.

Such a fun quilt!  My box of hexies used to look like this.

It has shrunk to this.

The white ones on the bottom left are my hexie papers that are used for English Paper Piecing.

The boy child finally got a haircut!  He was looking like a long haired musician (which is what he is after all) before.

Now he's looking very different.

Sorry, have to put this picture in.  Love it.

Thanks as always for stopping by and saying hi.  I hope everyone has a great week.

  23. Such great progress, Margaret--your hexie quilt is fabulous. I can see why you want to stick with it and just finish!

Nice new haircut--I sure wish I could convince my middle son to shave his beard. I though it was just a winter thing, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere even though summer has arrived!

  31. Oh Margaret,

Thank you so much for leaving me a message on my blog. I'm so glad you like it. I was actually at your blog this morning, looking all through it. Your kitty sure loves your son :)
(I have seven, since you were wondering) lol They just turned up. Like the neighbor bringing Little Angel and 2 others my daughter brought home... but time goes on and they all age. Which is sad. We lost one last month. He was the first one that turned up on our windowsill, about 13 years ago.
    Bless you Sweet Margaret
